The club began in March 1981, when a group of treasure seekers gathered for a drink in a local Kingston restaurant to discuss the pastime. 

The group agreed that it was time to form an official club. “The Black Diamond Treasure Hunters Club” was the name given to the club.

Today, the group has over 50 members from three different states.

Membership in the Black Diamond Treasure Hunters Club provides access to a network of experienced treasure hunters, opportunities to join group hunts, exclusive resources and information on treasure-hunting techniques, and the opportunity to compete and participate in events.
